Como consejo interesado en promover más espacios para el diálogo entre los jóvenes empresarios del CEAL, hemos organizado la primera reunión de nuestra próxima generación de líderes, cuyo tema central será “Las buenas practicas en la transición generacional en las empresas familiares”, presentación que será expuesta por el Dr. Harry Strachan, profesor de Harvard Business School, director académico y rector del INCAE Business School.
Como parte de la agenda, CEAL tendrá un espacio para debatir sobre el rol de la próxima generación del CEAL y las iniciativas que deben liderizar. También habrán espacios para hacer networking entre los participantes.
El evento se realizará en SLS Hotel Miami Beach, los días 5 y 6 de marzo de 2015, en la ciudad de Miami-Florida, Estados Unidos. Los exhortamos a participar de este exclusivo encuentro, en el cual estamos seguros compartiremos experiencias y llegaremos a interesantes conclusiones, esperamos contar con una buena representación de los capítulos y juntos lograr el éxito de esta gran iniciativa.

Harry Strachan is a Managing Director of Mesoamerica Partners whose various divisions serve the major business groups of Central America and Panama and the Andean region from offices out of Costa Rica and Bogota, Colombia. Mesoamerica is involved in scale private equity investments with ancillary strategy consulting and advisory services on mergers and acquisitions. Mesoamerica Foundation channels part of the profits and our resources to support pro bono efforts mainly in the area of education.
Harry was a partner of Bain & Co from 1979 to 1998 and continues active part time with Bain and Bain Capital in their new partner training and Mexico / C.A. activities. Harry was a business school professor at INCAE and the Harvard Business School from 1970-1979 and Rector of INCAE in the 1981/2 transition. Much of his work in Latin America has been advising Family Business Groups and his doctoral thesis was The Role of Family Business Groups in Economic Development. A significant portion of Harry’s time is devoted to pro bono boards, activities and teaching. He is President of the Strachan Foundation he established in honor of his parents and grandparents.
